Meet Iris
 Iris lives in Cement City, Michigan where she is a teacher consultant to learning disabled and emotionally impaired children. In 1992, shortly before her 38th birthday, Iris was diagnosed with breast cancer, and underwent a mastectomy without any adjuvant therapy. She continually strives to have the serenity of nature in her daily life. Iris' love of climbing and the outdoors led her to join the Climb Against the Odds ~ Mt. McKinley Team. Now she is a role model for others as she participates as a Team Leader in the next expedition.
