As the technology service provider to the featured non-profit organization(s) affiliated with this Breast Cancer campaign, GroupStone recognizes that the collection and use of personal information is important. Site visitor privacy is a top priority to GroupStone and we support the protection of privacy rights as a cornerstone of our business. As such GroupStone site visitors can be assured we will respect their needs for privacy.

What personally identifiable information is GroupStone collecting on web pages and how is it used?

GroupStone collects personal information on transaction forms (e-commerce and donation) and web sites for the following purposes: customer service, future online communication, and on-line fundraising and e-commerce.

There are two principal uses for the data collected, as follows:

Online Communication/Online Fundraising and E-commerce: A visitor's personal information may be used by GroupStone to provide products and services to the visitor only if requested by the visitor, and when we have the visitor's permission. Groupstone does not rent, sell or share personal information without the visitor's permission, except under the following circumstances:

• We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;

• We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of GroupStone's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.

• We transfer information about you if GroupStone is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, GroupStone will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

The GroupStone site provides links to other sites. GroupStone is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other sites. However, as it concerns links to client sites, GroupStone does ask that our clients adhere to a similar privacy policy before engaging GroupStone's tools and services.

What are the benefits for visitors providing personally identifiable information?

GroupStone collects personal information in an effort to better meet the individual needs of our site visitors. GroupStone uses personally identifiable information to assist our staff in responding to your questions and comments, and to guide us in developing content, tools, and services of interest to our online community.

GroupStone makes it easy for individuals to change their personal information, or to remove themselves from future communications from GroupStone altogether. Individuals will be informed of simple modification and opt-out instructions with each communication they receive, should they decide to edit or remove their names from our database.

How does GroupStone notify visitors of changes to its privacy policy?

Whenever GroupStone modifies its privacy policy, we will post a notice on our web site indicating a new version is available. If GroupStone changes how it collects or uses personally identifiable information, we will send an email to visitors who have provided data, and will offer them the option of removing themselves from our database.
